Today I want to share with you a beautiful collection of prints, puzzles, and games designed and illustrated by a Mum from the Blue Mountains. Eloise from Millions of Monkeys has developed a range of gender neutral, Australian themed, quality children's educational products. There is something really honest and enchanting about this collection. Take a look!
Above is The Great Barrier Reef Puzzle (100 pieces) recommended for 6ys+. Otis at five years had no problem completing the puzzle but I am sure a six-year-old could do it a lot quicker. It was fun to see him analyse all parts of the reef to put the puzzle together and he loved talking about the turtles!
It's beautiful! Eloise created the illustrations to be more like book illustrations so that they include interesting narratives. The colours are soft and alluring and the games, puzzles, and packaging all have a matt finish - they are really nice to hold and touch. They would be perfect for gift giving!
I think all children would love this illustrated Australian Animal Memory Match Card Game. It is a memory game but a lot of children would also want to use it as a matching activity (as Otis did). The name of each animal is at the top of the card so it's easy to use as a language material. Young children can learn the correct name of the animals and then perhaps identify them in the garden, on nature walks, at wildlife sanctuaries or in books. The cards would also look really sweet on the walls of the nursery or even as bunting in a reading or nature corner. The cards really hold the child's interest. All products featured are c/o Millions of Monkeys.
Eloise also has a range of cards and art prints. I really love the Puzzle Grow Pack (18 months+) and the Extra Large Floor Puzzles (3 years+). Eloise is offering to give one reader a product of their choice from her range! To enter have a look at the Millions of Monkeys website and leave a comment in the comment section of this blog post telling me which card, print, puzzle or game your child would enjoy the most. Comments close 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, Sunday 26th February 2017. This giveaway is open internationally. Please, only one entry per family.
